Empowering Young Women through Educational Scholarships

Scholarships are given to young women we would like to see continue their education and their vision for a better life. Scholarships are awarded in both traditional and non-traditional areas, such as hair dresser, culinary arts, or other vocations that often do not offer scholarship or grant funding.

The young women who have benefited from the Kristi Visocky Memorial Foundation Scholarships are the very types Kristi supported: young, displaced girls and single moms, working to pull their life back together and create a better life for themselves and their families.

One such woman, a single mom of three little boys, who was embarking on nursing school, put it this way when told she would receive a $2000 scholarship to Front Range Community College, “You don’t know what this means to me. It’s not just the money for school, it’s that you believe in me and believe that I can do this!”
