Dear Visocky Family,
 
I want to thank you for your incredible generosity. It is difficult to express just how much your kindness means to me. Your donation has not only helped financially, but the entire scholarship experience you provide has changed the way in which myself and my family see me as a person.
 
It is a tremendous honor that you chose me for the scholarship. With that honor came a sense of esteem and self-worth that is indeed priceless. It has been a long time since I have felt this good about my life and my plan. As you may recall, I have struggles in the past with alcohol which had led to multiple unfortunate situations that were destructive to me and my family. I am pleased to say that I am sober and doing what I can to repair the damage I have done to the relationships in my life that suffered due to an abundant amount of unfortunate decisions on my part.
 
Kristi’s Big Night Out was an unbelievable opportunity to show my family and friends that I am working hard to become a better person, and standing in front of them to receive a scholarship was one of the greater moments in my life.
 
Every day is a chance to make life better. When I applied for the scholarship I had no idea how greatly it would impact my life and the lives of the people that are closest to me. I can’t thank you enough for your confidence in me and seeing something in my application that you wanted to invest in.

"I meant to write this note long ago. I just wanted you all to know how thankful I am for the contribution you made to my education. Having lost my own sister to an accident, I know what this scholarship means to all of you. Kristi's life has had an impact not only on my life, but my sons life as well. I just began my career as a registered nurse, and I couldn't have done it without all of you. I can tell that Kristi's legacywill live on  through all of you and the work you do. Thank you so much!"

Hello Visocky family!
This is Jennifer Fleming and I was a scholarship winner from this previous year. Remember the short blonde girl with big, greasy, Diesel dreams? That's me!

I remember you all saying that you loved success stories and I can't even tell you how long I've been meaning to write. I'm just getting into my second semester at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm the only girl in the program, imagine that huh?
