It’s Kristi’s Wish to Make Every Child’s Holiday a Happy One!

You can be the star atop a child’s Christmas tree this season by participating in the Kristy Visocky Memorial Foundation’s Kristi’s Wish star-studded holiday campaign, November 1 – December 15. Anyone can be a secret Santa! Buy a star and grant a wish.

“This holiday season we hope to brighten things up and paint the town with stars,” says Bob Visocky, founder and Executive Director of the Kristi Visocky Memorial Foundation. “Kristi’s Wish is a warm and wonderful way to help provide gifts and support for children in need during the holidays.”

By purchasing and signing $1, $5 or more, Kristi’s Wish cards and displaying them in restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores and other retail outlets, patrons of over 40 area businesses can support Kristi’s Wish, and put the merry back in Christmas for needy Colorado families.

Proceeds from Kristi’s Wish will be used to provide gifts and financial support for the children and families associated with four Colorado organizations: Crossroads Safehouse, Child Safe, Project Self-Sufficiency and Respite Care.

2012 Kristi's Big Night Out

It’s Lights! Camera! Action! Are you ready for your close-up?

The Kristi Visocky Foundation is rolling out the red carpet, and polishing up the stars on the Walk of Fame, for the 10th annual Kristi’s Big Night Out, “Hooray for Hollywood,” Friday July 27, 6:30 pm, at the Fort Collins Drake Center, 802 W. Drake.

Have you always longed to tap along with Fred and Ginger? Sink your teeth into a meaty role in a Twilight sequel? Hang out at Hogwarts with Harry and the gang?
 
Or maybe you’ve fantasized about setting Atlanta on fire with Rhett Butler? Wondered what it might be like to go a little Daffy with Donald and Mickey? Have Clint Eastwood make your day?

Here’s your chance to tip your hat to your favorite flicks and pay tribute to your silver screen idols – no matter who they are! Dress as your favorite movie star (or character) and snag your own golden statuette. (Prizes given for best costumes!) And the award goes to…

11^th Annual Kristi Visocky Memorial Golf Tournament

265 golfers took part in this fun-filled tournament last year, making it the largest tournament in Northern Colorado. Last year’s tournament awarded eleven $2,000 scholarships to area young women. Proceeds from the tournament go to provide scholarships for young women wishing to continue their education.
